2 Kloibers + 1 Hawker = IIKH
Mara Kloiber, Jim Kloiber and Erin Hawker have led parallel lives from the beginning –
all born in Wisconsin they were destined for more concrete pastures. Each ended up in New York City and
through their own avenues conquered the worlds of advertising, fashion and luxury goods. From Calvin Klein,
Donna Karan and Prada, to the Gap, Rolex and Harry Winston, their combined resume reads like a walk down
Fifth Avenue.
After working for more than a decade in this intense and fast-paced world, the three found
they had something else in common. Their weekends were spent restoring a sense of balance to their lives—shopping
for organic vegetables upstate at the farmer’s market, experiencing a deeper down dog in yoga class
or working with their Rottweiler in a hospice pet therapy program.
A spark was ignited when the three realized that the ultimate ‘job’ would
be to combine their professional talents with their personal interests and create something of their own.
IIKH was born—a retail concept that brings a new level of sophistication to the booming market of
eco-friendly products.
